Taking place in the lazy days of the summer, it has the ability to spark up a city of people and tourists who gather to enjoy the “tasting shows” and competitions which attract a large number of people. If you like food, this is the festival for you.
If you are looking to interact with a young hip crowd, what would appeal to you would be the Deep Ellums Art Festival. Located in the hippest part of the town, it is filled with rock n roll music and dancing appealing to the youth everywhere. Described as the best party in Dallas, it also appeals to those with a serious artistic bend and interest with several visual and performing artists displaying their crafts in the festival. This is a surefire to hang out with the “cool crowd”.
There are plenty of festivals in Dallas. Whatever dates you decide to visit the city in, make sure that you look at an events calendar so you make it to the festivals and book your Dallas hotel in advance. These are not experiences you can afford to miss out on.
